Ariana Madix Speaks Out About the Lawsuit Tom Sandoval Filed Against Her

At last, Ariana Madix is talking about the lawsuit that her former partner Tom Sandoval filed against her.

In July, Sandoval, 41, filed a lawsuit against Madix, alleging that the host of Love Island USA had accessed sexual recordings of Rachel “Raquel” Leviss on his phone without his “authorization or permission,” as Us Weekly first reported.

Two days later, Sandoval had the lawsuit dropped and sacked his lawyer, Matt Geragos, stating that he had no intention of suing the 39-year-old Madix.

During her Tuesday, August 13 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen questioned Madix about her belief in Sandoval’s version of events. At first, Madix shrugged.

Cohen persisted, asking, “How did you feel when you saw that? You must have been very enraged.

With intact, Madix said, “It was a really bad day,” but he didn’t say anything more.

Sandoval stated that Madix “obtained access” to his phone on March 1, 2023, and examined videos of Leviss in a lawsuit that Us was able to obtain on July 16. In addition, Sandoval’s complaint claimed that Madix had “made copies” of a film and shared it with “Leviss and third parties” without getting his consent.

In response to Leviss’s and Madix’s February lawsuits, Sandoval filed the current one. Leviss charged the ex-couples with revenge porn, violation of privacy through eavesdropping, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress.

“It is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix,” said Jordan Susman, Madix’s attorney, in a statement to Us in response to Sandoval’s lawsuit. After months of emotional warfare, an illicit affair that destroyed her home and sense of security, and now this attempt to further abdicate personal responsibility for the consequences of his actions on her and her mental health.

“Tom Sandoval is fully aware of the privileges he and Ms. Madix had with respect to their personal communication devices,” the statement said. It would be illegal for someone to find out their spouse or significant other was having an affair, if he or his mistress had their way.

Sandoval said in an Instagram statement on July 18 that he was unaware of all the ramifications of the litigation until the release of information about it.

“My trusted legal advisor, Matt Geragos, called me late on Tuesday afternoon regarding the Cross-Complaint in the lawsuit against Ariana and me,” the man stated. He pleaded with me to accept the measure, telling me it was common and strictly prophylactic in cases like these.

“The words ‘New Lawsuit’ or ‘Suing’ were not articulated to me,” Sandoval went on. I ought to have investigated the situation more thoroughly.

The star of Vanderpump Rules declared, “I have removed Matt Geragos from my legal team,” after realizing the true meaning of his actions.

“I am not in any way suing Ariana,” added Sandoval. I am withdrawing the lawsuit I filed on behalf of Ariana. I didn’t harbor any malice or retaliation against Ariana.

Now that the Cross-Complaint and the lawyer who suggested it have been removed, he said, “I hope to get through this case quickly so that Ariana and I can both finally MOVE ON with our lives.”
