Before their breakup, Hoda Kotb and Joel Schiffman, her ex-fiance, were “growing at different paces.”
“I believe that many people are most likely in these circumstances. On Tuesday, August 13, Kotb, 60, stated on The Jamie Kern Lima Show that “one person’s growing… or one person wants it this way, and one person wants it that way,” adding that it’s “hard to be in sync.”
Even though Schiffman and Kotb are no longer together, the Today With Hoda & Jenna cohost still has positive memories of her former partner.
“Joel is genuinely a wonderful human being and one of the best people I know,” Kotb remarked. “I consider myself to be a really wonderful person, but sometimes it takes two wonderful people to make things work.”
After eight years together, Kotb and Schiffman announced in January 2022 that they were calling off their engagement.
