The upcoming American television program Andor was made by Tony Gilroy for the Disney+ streaming platform. The television show, a prequel to the 2016 Star Wars spin-off movie Rogue One, centers on thief-turned-Rebel spy Cassian Andor and takes place five years before the movie’s plot.

The release date of Andor was originally set for August 31, but it has already been delayed by almost a month According to Gadgets360.

On September 21, Andor makes its exclusive Disney+ Hotstar debut with a three-episode premiere. Disney has not given an explanation for the delay, but we may assume it was done so to avoid competing with She-Hulk, the following Marvel Cinematic Universe series, which premieres on August 17.
