Lou, a brand-new action-drama film that is currently streaming on Netflix, is, at most, an average film to see. The plot of the movie is predictable, the acting is subpar, and the dialogue fits the style of the movie.
This narrative, which tells the tale of an elderly woman who helps her younger neighbor in the hunt for the latter’s missing daughter, offers nothing new or interesting. The movie’s central figure is an old woman named Lou who lives alone in a cabin on Orcas Island that is close to a forest. Lou chooses to live a completely solitary life; her sole companion is a loyal dog named Jax, and she frequently goes on hunts even though it’s not the right time of year to do so. Jax is by her side as she performs this.
She has a neighbor who goes by the name of Hannah and is a young woman in addition to her daughter Vee. A young woman named Hannah leases space from Lou. Hannah currently lives alone with her daughter Vee after leaving an abusive marriage and divorcing her husband Philip. She has expressed interest in growing her friendship with Lou.
Lou seemed eager to get to know Hannah better as well. Lou, on the other hand, makes the decision to keep her distance, speaking with Hannah just to remind her of the past-due rent payment and ignoring Vee entirely.
The residents of Orcas Island expect a hazardous storm that will reach the area that evening on the day the events of the film start to take shape. Lou is spotted stacking items that very morning in anticipation of the storm. She visits the neighborhood bank, withdraws the entire balance from her account, and then leaves with it.
The country of Iran already seems to be associated with Lou in some way because some of the papers even have writing in Farsi on them. She is also seen pulling out some papers and photographs. Lou has nonetheless made the decision to stop taking part in any of these activities.
She locks Jax in a room so he won’t be a distraction when she moves on to the next step and destroys all of the paperwork and pictures. Lou silently sits down with her gun and gets ready to kill herself in the head after setting a letter on the table that is addressed to Hannah.

But a letter containing a message and a picture of Vee and Philip had been left behind, and Hannah assumed he had died in an explosion. Lou decides to examine the area, posing as an elderly woman who has become lost in the rain to find Vee.
