Tower of God Season 2: (Spoiler Alert)!!

With its dynamic animation and fast-paced story, the anime adaptation of Lee Jong Hui’s (S.I.U.) manhwa Tower of God was a big hit. But that was in 2020, and it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the anime and whether or not Baam’s arduous journey to the top of The Outer Tower will continue in Tower of God: Season 2.

Tower of God Plot

The Tower of God’s plot revolves around a young boy named Twenty-Fifth Bam. Yes, a boy with an unusual name. Bam means ‘Night’ in Korean, but the name implies a spiritual significance for a Messiah. So the plot revolves around this Bam guy, whose life revolves around a Tower in which he lives and his best friend, Rachael.

Bam was ravaged when Rachael entered the Tower. Bam is now willing to go to any length to see Rachael again, even if it means dying in the process. The rest of the story revolves around his journey through the tower, where he meets numerous allies who aid him in his mission.

The new season will introduce two new main protagonists, Jue Viole Grace and Ja Wangnan, as well as reveal what happened to Bam, Khun, Rak Wraithraiser, and everyone’s favourite villain, Rachael.

When Is Tower of God: Season 2 Coming Out?

Although Crunchyroll has confirmed that Tower of God: Season 2 is in the works, they have not provided an update on when we can expect it to be released; however, if we were to speculate, it could arrive by summer 2023.

Fortunately, the anime’s Twitter account did reveal a teaser for the second season that summarised some of Baam’s journey from Season 1 while also adding a few new sneak peeks at what’s to come. The first season aired 13 episodes, and we expect the same for Tower of God: Season 2.

It is currently unknown whether Telecom Animation Film will return to direct the animation, but based on the trailer, that appears to be the case, so fans can relax. The animation was a huge part of the anime’s success; while it was undeniably a new type of quirky, it worked surprisingly well with Tower of God’s low-key pacing.

What Is Tower of God: Season 2 About? (Spoiler Alert)

So far, the Tower of God webtoon has 550 chapters, which is an insane amount of content for any series. Those chapters, however, are divided into three parts, and Tower of God: Season 1 completely covered all of the events in part one, despite a few changes to the anime’s story.

As a result, the first episode of Tower of God: Season 2 will feature Yuri asking her older sister, Jaina Zahard, for assistance in locating Baam. After that, part two of the webtoon will officially begin with a shocking 6-year time jump, and it will revolve around how Baam joins the party of another regular, Ja Wangnan, and attempts to ascend the remaining levels of The Outer Tower in the hopes of reuniting with his friends. If the anime stays true to the source material, you might see them go as far as floor 21b of the known 135.

Whatever happens in the story, it’s still reassuring to know that Tower of God: Season 2 is in the works. Furthermore, with the next instalment of the manhwa being better than ever, no fan will be disappointed.

News About the Tower of God Manhwa Writer

Because of back and wrist pain, manhwa S.I.U. author Lee Jong Hui was taking a break. The main cause of it is that he continued working steadily without taking breaks. He was also struggling with his mental health. The fans were disappointed by this news. S.I.U. – AKA Lee Jong Hui, however, returned to the series as a writer in November 2020 after a lengthy hiatus.

How Many Episodes will Season 2 Comprise?

How many episodes would the Tower of God anime have is another crucial question. The anime’s first season consisted of 13 episodes, which debuted on April 1, 2020, and ran until June 24, 2020.

There are not even six more seasons of Tower of God to be produced from the remaining source material. According to our prediction, the second season would have 12 to 15 episodes as well. If it achieves the same level of success, the studio will produce additional seasons.
