In the 1980s, when President Reagan closed all state-run mental health facilities, individuals like Lamar were discharged with nowhere to go. Perhaps he entered the asylum thinking it would be less restrictive than prison, but he was already mentally ill and deteriorating.
Terry was shot
Terry was shot in the face as he left his girlfriend’s house as the pilot concluded, much to the consternation of BMF fans. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, but the traumatic experience caused him to lose vision in one eye. Fans are currently persuaded that Lamar carried out the shooting.
