Career
Emanuel got his start in the entertainment business as a trainee agent at CAA. He worked his way up through the ranks at ICM Partners to become a partner there. A handful of ICM television agents, including Ari, decided to strike out on their own in 1995. When ICM Chairman Jeff Berg learned about the scheme, he immediately terminated the employment of the four agents involved. The four friends set sail on the Endeavor on March 30th, 1995.
